business builder

Before committing to our services, we kindly request that you review our terms of engagement for a clear understanding of our mutual expectations and obligations.

Introducing the Business Builder Package, designed for entrepreneurs with big visions and multiple stakeholders. Whether you're launching a new venture, embarking on a new project, or seeking to refresh your brand identity, we're here to support you every step of the way. Our comprehensive 6-month package is meticulously crafted to transform your ideas into a thriving business reality.

  • Tailored specifically for founder-led enterprises, our Business Builder Package delves deep into the essence of your vision, ensuring that your brand radiates authenticity at every touchpoint. From strategic planning to brand development, we leave no stone unturned in our quest to bring your vision to life.

  • We take a holistic view of marketing and use the tried and trusted 4P process that Andrew teaches his students at University. All of the 4 P’s - Price, Product, Place (distribution) and Promotion worth together in unison to create a valuable offering to your customers.

Most people think marketing is just promotion, which is often mistaken for paid digital marketing or social media marketing. But marketing is far more comprehensive than this limited view.

    • The Promotion area encompasses many areas such as above the line (e.g. print, radio, TV, outdoor, cinema), activation (events, sponsorships, influencer outreach, client engagement through delivery like our cupcake outreach programs), digital marketing (email, Google & Meta Ads, social media content, SEO), content marketing (blogs, videos, posts), sales (LinkedIn outreach, events) and more.

    • Price is an important factor in your strategy. Do you want to be the highest price in the market or the lowest? Either strategy can work depending on your brand. We formulate the floor and ceiling price for your brand and review the market to arrive at a strategy that works for you to meet your goals and will match the market.

    • Products are what deliver value to your clients and even if you are a service provider we work to package what you do so it’s clear in the customer’s mind and creates value. This is very important to differentiate your services from others and relates strongly to the price module.

    • Finally, Place is where you sell your products and is tied to your target market and lifestyle goals. Is there a geographic limitation to physical delivery? How far do you want to travel or would you prefer online delivery? All are possible with enough planning upfront.

The value of reviewing all of the 4Ps can’t be underestimated and once we have all of these aligned we build your digital assets to communicate this value to your target market.

And we call this process “e-ttraction”

  • The strategy workshop is an integral part of our process which is essential to create a strategic marketing plan to meet your goals. The process starts with our team researching your current brand then an in-depth 2-hour workshop, which is then followed by a 24-week action plan for your business. This is often done prior to committing to the Business Builder Package.

  • The way we work at Social Star involves taking you through a 24-week coaching process to take you from where you are now, to be ready to onboard your first customer. Each month has a specific focus:

    • initiation,

    • understanding your brand,

    • building your brand,

    • leveraging your brand,

    • creating content,

    • empowering you to do it yourself.

To guide you through the process we set up monthly 1-hour review workshops plus weekly half-hour check-in sessions related to each of the 12 steps in the e-ttraction process.

This includes online resources to support you in building your branding assets. We develop your website, revamp your LinkedIn profile and support you in building out your branding materials such as branding guidelines, headshots, business photography and certain graphics to be used across your digital media profiles.

  • Once you have completed your branding work and created your digital assets, the next phase is to consistently create content to engage and e-ttract your target audience to your business.

6-Month Timeline

  • During the first month, we'll facilitate a comprehensive onboarding process to seamlessly integrate you into our internal systems. This includes setting up weekly meetings, a dedicated Google drive folder for your project, a Notion page for project management, introducing you to our team, booking workshop sessions, and securely exchanging necessary passwords and credentials.

  • Understanding yourself is key to building a successful brand. Many successful people haven't invested the time to be introspective as they were too busy with family, work and life. This can hinder their ability to clearly articulate who they are, how they want to be perceived and what their business offering will be. We create the space and opportunity to delve into your values, personality, lifestage and resources, with our robust 4-step e-ttraction method.

  • Once you have a clear understanding of how you'd like your brand to be perceived, we'll build your brand in a digital ecosystem. This can include creating websites, SEO, social media, and email marketing so you can communicate your message to your target audience. This process spans over two months, as crafting these assets requires time and precision. We prefer to initiate content creation during this phase to ensure we are consistently a month ahead in our strategies.

We find that service professionals often don't have time to write, so we have created alternative content production methods better suited to your busy lifestyle. This can come in two main forms: audio or video. In month 4, we explore these options as part of the creative process, while maintaining regular written content.

Creating the audio and/or video content requires production, equipment, and guest interaction. We guide and assist you in this process. Each business is slightly different, and we tailor your content to suit your needs.

  • Once the key e-ttraction steps are completed, the leveraging processes is designed to build your brand message with your audience over time. Our recommendations may include weekly thought leadership content, which will begin as written blogs and posts.

Building a platform to share your message with your target audience is the start of the e-ttraction process, but without regular activity, it’s challenging to achieve your desired results. The process starts with a crisp pitch that engages your audience to want to hear more. Regular digital content such as blogs and adding these connections to your database is essential for long-term success. Finally, being able to convert an opportunity is the ultimate step in building a successful business.

  • After launching your new content to your audience, it's important to review your statistics and reactions. We diligently monitor your content and make appropriate adjustments to ensure your success. Following this step, some clients opt to take control of their content processes independently, leveraging the tools and knowledge acquired during our engagement. Alternatively, we offer the option for ongoing retainers, providing continuous support for those who prefer not to manage their marketing independently. This includes providing all necessary tools and resources for effective content management.
