Before committing to our services, we kindly request that you review our comprehensive terms of engagement for a clear understanding of our mutual expectations and obligations.

  • Marketing a professional services business is quite different from from other industries. As knowledge professionals, there is a requirement to create thought leadership and educational content on a regular basis to inform as well as engage your audience. This requires some additional care and planning. The starting point is a workshop with key stakeholders to clearly understand your position in the market, document goals and create a plan to accurately represent your team for minimum risk, whilst still creating new opportunities to e-ttract staff, clients and partners.

  • Once the workshop has provided a consensus with scope of activity, there are several processes that need to be completed to prepare for the content marketing prior to releasing to the market. This includes doing a digital audit of all key parts of the content process, including websites, social media profiles (both individual and company owned) and content already created.

A structured plan can then be created with key messages and style of content, which will involve interviews with each key stakeholder on their part in the process.

Once the overall plan is completed and signed off, the production process can begin with official approval procedures in place and scrutiny on the reaction to launched content. It is critical that enough time is spent in the planning process to ensure we set up for success over the long term. Great brands are built slowly and consistently.

  • Once the six month set up process has been completed and the content is being well received by the market, often clients will want to continue the process with a retainer in place to ensure consistent and quality production. The scope of this work is individual to each client and will be discussed with you once you have completed the content onboarding process.

6-Month Timeline

Month 1

Understand

Understanding your business position in the market and where you would like it to be, is key to building a successful brand. Many successful organisations have not invested the time being introspective so they can clearly articulate who they are and how they want to be perceived. We create the opportunity to uncover your desired position with our robust four step e-ttraction method.

Month 2

Build

Once you have a clear understanding of how you would like your brand to be perceived, we build your brand in a digital ecosystem. This includes sophisticated use of websites, SEO, social media and email marketing, so you can communicate your message to your target audience.

Month 3

LEVERAGE

Building a platform to share your message to your target audience is the start of the e-ttraction process, but without regular activity, it will not achieve the desired results. The process starts with a crisp pitch that engages your audience to want to hear more. Regular digital content such as blogs and adding these connections to your database is essential for long term success. Finally, being able to convert an opportunity is the final step in building a successful business.

Month 4

CONTENT strategy

Once the three key e-ttraction steps are completed, the leverage processes need to be repeated each month to build your brand message with your audience over time. We recommend at least weekly thought leadership content which begins as written blogs.

However, we find service professionals often do not have time to write so we have created alternative content production methods better suited to your busy lifestyle. This can come in two main forms: audio or video and in month 4, we explore these options and being the creative process, whilst maintaining the regular written content.

Month 5

CONTENT production

Creating the audio and/or video content requires production, equipment and guest interaction. We guide and assist you in this process. Each situation is slightly different and we tailor your content to your business needs. However, the production processes are quite similar. With expert podcast and video experience, we can run the entire process for you.

Month 6

CONTENT REVIEW

After launching your new content to your audience its important to review your statistics and reactions. We monitor your content and make appropriate adjustments to ensure your success. From this step, some clients manage their own content processes or we can continue to produce, review and adjust as required.

FAQ

  • While our team at Social Star is dedicated to guiding you through the personal branding process, it's essential for you to actively participate to ensure authenticity. We provide assistance, valuable information, and even help with content creation such as blog posts. However, your input is crucial to maintain the authenticity of your brand. • While executives like Andrew, Tish, and Adam are integral members of our team, they join meetings primarily when strategic input is required. Your account manager will coordinate these sessions based on your needs. Additionally, you will frequently hear from Andrew through the videos he has produced for the course, ensuring you receive valuable insights and guidance throughout your journey with us. So, while you may not interact with them in every meeting, their expertise and support are always accessible when needed.

  • You will have weekly meetings with your dedicated account manager via Google Meet, ensuring regular communication and progress updates. Additionally, you can expect frequent email correspondence for ongoing support and guidance.

  • Creative credits are a unique feature of our service, offering flexibility and customisation in your branding journey. With content retainer clients receiving 8 credits per month, our general methodology encompasses 2 social media posts, 1 blog post, and 1 video—perfectly equating to 8 credits. Should you desire additional work beyond this scope, you can utilise credits from other months or purchase additional credits.
